And though it’s hard to see, my lapel pin says “Dieu et mon droit” and was sold in the US to support the British War Relief Society/Bundles for Britain during WWII.

The coat itself is c.1980s and probably from a department store.

Jerome had to deal with some personal matters that would have crippled me emotionally. That is why i gave space where it was needed. An indulgence purchase and art could justifiably wait... whatever the timeline.

Auto refinishing. Not your crash repair stuff. Bespoke paint jobs....

Grant had a great cloth jacket painted recently.. look it up..

Hey Guys
It’s a grey chilly day here and perfect weather for a not usually seen jacket here in the US . It’s an original post war 1974 German Kriegsmarine Officers jacket commonly seen in period photos worn by German submarine officers. It’s complete with the original warm liner .

I thought I'd try some layering today...
Warehouse US Army sweater as the base layer with my 27752 A-2 and the RW B-6 on top...
Works great and gives a better range of movement than the Irvin or B-3 worn alone...

So how does the zipper attach ? Is it on a separate piece of leather that allows it
To move in or out to avoid stress on the zip itself ?

It is Mike, a small leather triangulated piece of leather . I’ll try and get a pic of it for you later on today.
