Having spent most of the 1990’s living in Calgary and working all over - including up north - it was fun for a while but you can keep it. I worked outdoors. Coldest was -39C. Luckily no wind.

So, the day before my birthday last week, I got an offer from Drifterproductions on the 'Bay for an Eastman B-3 RW 17756 sz. 42 I'd been watching. I made all the excuses to myself that we normally do (it's my birthday soon, the discount is 30% off, Eastman's raising their prices again soon, etc., etc.) and accepted. So, my first shearling jacket arrived just in time for a spate of cold weather that's hitting Michigan tomorrow, and man, I'm liking it! The size 42 seems like a perfect fit - I can snugly fit an A-2 under it, but it's very comfortable in a t-shirt, and the cuffs fall just where I want them.
Damn cozy jacket, and ready for a Michigan winter. Now I promise myself I'm not going to buy any more jackets fora year 6 months 3 months.

I have just purchased my second Eastman jacket! Haha
I bought it from Ebay Germany.
It is the contract 2337 and 1940 model cut in dark seal he said. Any opinions on this model from ELC??
Needs the knits replaced. And it has the name tag removed but i will cover it with the patch i got from Sean Collins.
I was thinking to put RED knits. What do you think? To look like the a2 50cal.
The best thing is the price i paid: 350€ with shipping included

) it saved me some 1000€ on the a2 50cal i was planning to get...or maybe i will still get it haha

It will be my first time i try to fix a jacket. I am pretty excited about it. But i will need the help from you guys regarding the knits. Which ones to buy and from where? I want some good quality ones. The best quality actually. I will create a separate thread where i will kindly request your help

A 42 actually, but a small 42. I could probably fit a 40 if it was the right jacket.
@Serghei87 - I think the MASH knits are generally considered the best out there, at least of what's available for general purchase. Nice jacket, btw - looks like you got a great deal on it. Let us know how the older hide compares to Warhorse.
