End of Shift...so here's the missed G-1 pic from the morning no enquiring button pushers in need of suitable flight attire with me in the elevator this time...

Phil, nice jacket, looks like vintage original.
Forgive the pilots, they are like children loving to push buttons :)
Do you work for an airline?

That moment whe you realize:

"Its's casual friday...in the office...in 2019... and I am dressed for an escort mission over the hump...WTF?!"

Great jacket Dimitri, unfortunately less and less decent copies left and I must say that the price is very high...I mean, early ' 80s issues..

Thanks, Alex, it's original from 1975. At one time, at the request of the VLJ members, I did a detailed review of this jacket here:

Agree, the modern repro of this jacket are not copies, it is just a miserable semblance (a different cut, zips, leather ... in general, everything is different, although manufacturers are trying to pass off their products as a "exact copy of that famous jacket")

Yes I do. I am working in the Hub Control Centre of Austrian Airlines in our Viennese HQ at VIE. Our office is one level above the dispatch and flight prep offices so I get to use the elevator with our pilots quite often...
Before that I was working as load planner and loading supervision guy for Cargolux 747s and other airlines and aircraft my handling company worked for...loads of memorable stories
