Looks good on you ! Nice light weight jacket for those in between days.
Thanks, Thomas and Burt, yes, the collar is very warm and thick muton and this B15C warm jacket .
Outstanding DC-3 photo!
and from the rounded collar points, I'm guessing that's your ELC Monarch???
Yes sir. ELC monarch. That is at the Chennault museum in the loo.
Also the place Delta airlines started out.
so you means ta tells me Delta airlines started out in the loo?
Service on board wise they went back to the roots ( the loo) ...my last experience with them....
Great jacket J, perfect by all means...
Nice photo, cool jacket, fabulous plane and tough man!)
Hey Jeremiah, please stop posting photos of your fantastic Eastman Monarch A-2 'cause it motivates me to buy one more Eastman Monarch A-2!) Every time when I see your Monarch I just can't stop thinking of buying one more Monarch!)) Seriously, it's fantastic A-2. It's my favorite A-2 contract.
P.S. Though both your BK's are absolutely gorgeous too!
J I do admire your BK A-2 especialy when you redyed it.
What was the dye you used? I have a WW2 A-2 and a WW2 Luftwaffe jacket who could need a good repainting.
Thx for your help.
A pro dye which is an oil dye in a spirit base. Sinks into the leather good. Will react somewhat differently depending on the leather finish already present.
Fiebings makes if. You can thin it more with isopropyl alcohol to get a lighter shade and build up from there. This dye hyrates the leather as well to a small extent being that it’s an oil dye.
Thx J, appreciate.
I think I'll keep it. Willis and Geiger G1 gorgeous goat skin.
ELC .50cal B-3
Just wondering ??
How many different B-3 jackets do you have?
Not sure how it happened but I have three.
Hell.... that’s less than I thought. I can see why you have 3 . They all look good on you!
I've got a couple of repro Irvins as well, with a black fleece one in the pipeline
