What Happened to Jerome?

This is getting ridiculous. I paid for my patch and artwork long ago and still nothing. Jerome needs to refund my money. That's right, I'm calling you out, enough is enough.

GB, I can sympathise that you've paid and waited a long time and not seen anything... but I can tell you that looking after a loved one with cancer and juggling your own normal day-to-day life is very energy sapping, very time consuming, and not to mention an emotionally draining time. You just don't get the moments to do the things that you'd normally be able to do. The few moments you do get for yourself are just that - moments.
Have some patience - but if you can't wait and want your jacket back, be understanding with Jeromes' position.

I'm due to call Jerome some time today--he has some patches ready for me--if you give me your name, I'll let him know your request, but in a kind way to him...

As you have already heard from others here, Jerome's battling cancer with his dad...don't worry, you'll get your patches, I received mine in the past and had to wait probably as long as you. Jerome's a good guy, most of all, a compassionate artist with a heart, so there's no way he can forget about you nor his clients.

Gents..

Jerome has had a Jacket of mine as a canvas, an ELC Air Comfort, for nearly 12 months. I have no desire to pressure the "artist" as it could only detract from the end result. I do not need it to keep me warm. I have near on 30 others that can do that. Family takes priority over a jacket, a patch, or anything we discuss here...I understand your grievance, and you could lodge an item not received if you sent payment via Paypal. I am sure you would get your money back. I am sure Jerome would even make it up to you in time.

Re-commission your patch if you require it urgently, there are a great number of vendors discussed on the forum.

Regards..

Couchy

I've heard this story before. The problem is my Merchant Marine patch is featured on his website. So it's done. It does not take that much time to post it. Does anyone have an answer as to why I don't have it? I also ordered a drawing of the Disney artwork. Enough is enough.

Well, you have to wait in awe for a maestro and never haste him to "his thing". If and when he is in ready to perform
he will let you know (maybe). You don't demand anything from him, his price is always fair (no matter how high) and there is no such thing as waiting too long for him to entertain and of course end result is always his best work yet (even if you don't agree you're wrong because your too stupid to understand and apreciate his art)

Nothing happened to me. It's my dad.

I basically had to shut it down for a while because It still is to this day a very time consuming process in which 14-16 hours a day are normal in helping out both my mom and my dad as well as finding time for My family.

Thank you for everyone who has been SUPER supportive of me and my efforts. Seriously anyone who knows me can tell Mostly anything rolls off me like water on a ducks back. I have some of the best friends in the world and some of them are right here on this forum. I just realize that there are things that are more important.
This has hit me pretty hard. I have been slowly getting back into the swing of things and can still accept work. I just have to spend some "me" time every weekend to get ahead.

Painting jackets is not my life I do it cause I love it. I'm not making a killing on it either, if i was I would charge the same as the japanese or some of those other ARTISTS Out there . By the way the japanese....they have a 1 year wait for all custom work.

It is not my 40 hour a week job either, but with some PR and marketing MAN I would love it to be. Website wouldn't hurt either.

My whole life for over a year has been put on hold. While my father is getting better he has lost over 110 pounds now and is still to weak to drive so I have to help for my mom who doesn't drive but still works 40 hrs a week or more for the Milwuakee police department and my dad is still to weak to be self reliant.
What really sucks is that even though my dad is getting better he could get "more better" with rehab and PT but he will not go near the hospital rehab center because he Hates it there. "They always find something wrong."

"Stubborn Pollock" I say but hey at least he is getting better.

So yeah through the 37 radiation treatments and chemo along with 3 bouts of pneumonia and another lung operation and tubes in his chest for going to be the 3rd time now i just wish i had the positive upswing my dad has and for a long time it has been very hard.
And for the record I have never taken payment for something and not delivered---EVER. I usually make it a point to over deliver in quality .
Sorry your patch and drawing are late . I actually have them both done. Plus another patch when the custom colors work that YOU asked for wasn't to your liking.

Love all you crazy kooks. P.S. anybody want's to call me it's 4145500536 --cell .

See, like I said before, he's just been re-watching the Heath Ledger & Jake Gylenhall DVD, to decompress.

Oh, dear me, I see my mistake...meant to say Heath and Maggie Gylenhall, i.e, the Dark Knight. Hey but that's cool Jerome Urbaniak, you like what you like. No harm done. Pssst, try Netflix, no late fees.

Just spoke to Jerome and he assures me that my patches and artwork will be mailed in short order. As I told him, it was not my intention to be a pain in the ass, but I've been burned way too many times on various other forums for things that I've paid for and never got. I assure you I'm no prima donna. I was and still am a Merchant Marine Officer although I don't sail any more. I was awarded the Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal for Desert shield/Desert Storm. I also went to Mogadishu, Somalia carrying Army Unit equipment both before and after the Blackhawk Down incident during Operation Restore Hope/Continue Hope. Now I do God's work. I had no idea that Jerome ordinarily takes as long as he does to complete his artwork.
