Checked my originals one from the late 50s and the other from 63 and neither have cuffs like that. Both have one piece very thin knits. I like you really like the Wep jacket.

Interesting. I have glanced at those jackets before but I never noticed that v cuff. Its a great detail but I wonder why its there? How would one go about getting a vintage example re-cuffed?

Flightsuits (Gibson & Barnes) offers a WEP with what they refer to as the original deep-cut knits. (I've never seen one in person.) I don't know if they would do repairs, but they might be willing to sell a set of knits if they manufacture the jacket on site.
