Does anyone have an automatic watch winder they can recommend?
Before I get any sarcastic answers, I mean the kind that spins the watches around when you are not wearing them.

I have many automatic watches and I personally do not recommend a watch winder.
is just extra wear and tear on the gears and clockwork.

Just arrived this evening. It’s looks good and has the “British Broad Arrow” mark . Reasonably priced at $100.00. Made by “SteelDive” a Chinese company. I’ll give it a few weeks and see how it does as far as maintaining accurate time . If anyone wants the link to the sales page, give me a shout .
Cheers.

Právě dorazil dnes večer. Vypadá dobře a má označení „British Broad Arrow“. Za rozumnou cenu 100,00 $. Vyrobeno čínskou společností „SteelDive“. Dám tomu pár týdnů a uvidím, jak si povede, pokud jde o udržování přesného času. Pokud by někdo chtěl odkaz na prodejní stránku, ozvěte se mi.
Na zdraví.View attachment 166703

I've been in need of a watch that I'm happy with the look of, is 100% reliable and if it gets damaged I'm not going to lose sleep, so today I bought one of these off ebay. £55 plus £5 postage and should be with me by Friday. Yes I'd love a minty Stirling Bulova, no question, but I'd want to keep that nice and for special occasions and I expect it's going to be a few bob when I find one. This one I can use daily and not worry so fingers crossed it lives up to my expectations! It's a bit different to the previous ebay sourced Epic Militaria watch a few pages back, which sadly is sold out, and contacting Epic they don't know when / if they will be stocking it again, but it's the same principle.

Chris
Is your watch the same as this one ?
I’ve had this for a while now and it’s a great watch. Price looks to be about the same, so if you’re not happy with yours, consider grabbing one of these.
Cheers

Hi Burt, sadly no, mine isn't like that, which I do prefer if I'm honest but the nearest I can find like that on Ebay is £178 (attached pic) and I'd rather put that sort of amount towards that stirling Bulova. For £60 the one I've gone for is worth a try... I hope!

In reality, chances are that both my watch and the one you just ordered were made in the same factory in China, just with different branding. I’m sure that yours will work nicely.
Cheers

Exactly why I bought mine (same as Burt’s). I’ve worn it since I got it last winter, whether I’m working on cars or whatever. Absolutely no issues. However, my nos strap I put on it is pretty much trashed. Ragged, unstitched etc.
