Nice watch,
Original Marine Nationale strap sure not… with all due respect.
MN straps ( actually straps from parachute bags/containers) are yellow or red piped ( never white or all others sold on crapbay and elsewhere).
Original MN straps have no markings on the buckle like NDC or MN or others..
Original MN straps are just 19-20 mm in width and this depending on age and wear….
Original MN straps have no NATO N# since when issued France was only a consultant member but not active in the NATO itself.
No ranting… just facts about all BS selling on the web.View attachment 80968View attachment 80969

Fantastic photos!

By original, I was referring to the name of the colorway. That's what Erika's Originals has named their olive drab colored straps.

I was under no impression that it was an original MN strap.

I was not stating that it was an original MN strap.

Thank you very much for the offer. I attempted to send a private message regarding an original strap, but didn't see that option under your profile.

Wow, Bryce.... That is an awesome combination! Do these come in different lengths? I have to replace the leather band on my red Black Bay, soon, and this would look quite cool....

Best regards,

Ties
Hi Ties
they originally come in two lengths as shown on the pics.
Also, with sun, seawater and wear they expand a bit.
We adjust them toyour wrist diam if needed.
This is only valid for the yellow piped ones.
The red piped ones ( very rare and marked with unit and certification stamps.. when the chutes were checked and reissued.) are in a shorter length,..but fit to a normal wrist.
I use them on my Eterna IDF and Tudor Pelagos.
They sell 40 Euro incl. EU shipping .
Can courier to other destinations but it might be costly..
Pls let me know.
Cheers
Brice

Please PM me, sir. I didn't know you had them for sale.
I had been looking around the market but did not want to buy with Erika's nor NDC for exactly the inaccuracies that you mentioned.

Figured what the heck, might apply…..I dont wear these personally, but one could. My three original WWII watches….Firstnis a mint 1944 A-11 hack watch. Second one part of a larger grouping from a WWII marine Corps pilot. Third, from a recent grouping worn by a WWII and Korean War navy Aviator. All made by Elgin.
