    It’s a Lafayette A Rubis.
    SS back and front.

    I have no doubt it’s got only sentimental value.

    Nice watch, I have the Pepsi 39 version. Accuracy is very good , +2 seconds a day.

    I always liked the Pepsi dial, but opted for the low-profile-all-black version instead. As the dial starts to show its age, maybe a replacement with the Pepsi version is what I will do in the near future...

    Here's another original 1942 Waltham. Runs well after receipt from EBay and then 210 dollars to get it cleaned. Accurate to about eight seconds fast a day. Good for a 77 year old watch. 027.jpg
