Yep! At least, so I’m told. Never worn one myself.

I would say it would suit a 4-6 inch taper on the waist...

Per the Historypreservation website, the measurements on an ELC Monarch 48 are chest 25.5”, shoulders 20.5”, arms and back 27”. Between that and Ausreenactor’s info about the taper, you should be able to decide.
