hadn't posted for a while...think i accidently hijacked Yogie's thread before - sorry for that

Hey there!
i was looking for a nice patch of VB-3 for a M-421a cloth jacket. Having been unsuccesful in my search i decided to make (my first) one myself. It is made with acrylic cloth-paint on thick canvas. Now it only has to be sewn on...

Pro tip from someone who is definitely not a pro. I would strongly recommend using an embroidery hoop when painting canvas patches. This will allow you to stretch out the canvas and minimise warping. They are only a few £/$/Euro and replicate on a small scale what an artist would use to stretch larger canvases. Makes the difference between a comparatively flat patch and a Pringle.

Thank you for the tip, Yardstick. I will consider this for the next one.
Still this time i got lucky as is turned out very flat in the end.
Very nice picture you posted there. Is this your work? What squadron is this?
