USN STENCIL PAINT, INK OR MARKER

Hi, I’ve decided to stencil USN on the front left of my repro N1 Deck jacket, what should I use thats permanent?
Any help much apreciated thanks, Eddy :)

There's special cloth paint available in supplies stores. I use this since years

Slightly related to this topic, I have a my father's USAF clothing stamp from the 50s, whatd be a good stamp pad to use for this on my repro MA1?

Since ink can do strange things (like running, bleeding, etc), a friend of mine uses permanent marker to 'ink' his stamps, then applies it to the fabric.

Marker ink has often a strange shiny appearance, not as dull as it should be.
