USAAF A-3 cap

A friend texted me yesterday, a neighbor was going to sell some military stuff, as his kids weren't interested, the usual story.
Mostly Belgian army airforce stuff, lots of paperwork, medals, but this old cap, caught my eye.
A-3 mechanics cap, some white paint splashes ( not unusual ) but pretty ok. So brought it home.
I assume this is the real deal? Made by Ashley hats Inc, size 7 3/8. Stamped in and out.

Yes it does, fits perfectly..But this one goes with the other WWII stuff
I have a Bronson one, I put on from time to time, and must say they did a fine job replicating it.

I think it is,yes...the cap and 5 Vietnam patches for around $50.
