So what happened to Real McCoy's NZ? Are they not the same as the japanese company? I'm not too familiar with the japanese repro brands as far as A2's are concerned, sorry for all the questions

They were caught up in the earthquake, building was not worth saving. Friend of mine has photos of the place taken the next day..place was a disaster.

I was actually there, in Christchurch, just before RMNZ closed. Spent a couple of hours with Paddy and heard first hand accounts of the Earthquake. Tried on jackets (unfortunately none fit) and toured the remaining factory, which was still bust making jackets. I even got to see and inspect row after row of originals and production jackets. By then, they were already in the process of handing over to Japan, and had quite a few Japanese there. Sad story. RMNZ made some of the best high end A-2s...
I often wonder what became of Paddy and her team.
