The Civi jacket

I was wondering which civilian jacket designs are the most popular

I like the half belt and the bootlegger.

But which are the actual more popular Aero designs ?

You're probably better advised to ask this on FL, where the Aero/Alexander Leather interest is more keen.

i think the himel bro's heron is a particularly nice design...

I really like this one as well - sadly the price tag is a hefty one.

Similarly, I don't know how popular it is (in terms of units shifted), but I like the Levi Menlo jacket (similar vintage) - John Lever has a couple of these in cape and they're fab.

Platon, if BK can make a similar shawl collar A1, I'm all in- ALL IN!! I absolutely love this design, and now that Mark has my dream d pocket aviator half belt under production, this is my next "dream" jacket :)

Btw my absolute favorite civvy is Mark's d pocket aviator half belt

It is Mark which makes this jacket? It is magnificent. I am interested too! For information, how much he sells it ?

Mark Fisher (aka Fishmeok) of Superior Flight Apparel... He's good friends with JC and has been making repro VLJs for some time now. I believe he is in the process of relaunching his business in a new civilian jacket focused area- be to civies what JC is to military VLJs- and I think the world could not be better off for it...

Here are a couple more of his jackets (all that I have posted are owned by a guy by the name of Steve C. aka Deluxestyling)... I'm bonkers for all of em, and can't wait to take delivery of my first Mr Fisher jacket- the black external d pocket (only difference is mine will have a ball chain zip on the d pocket)

Two tone goatskin internal d pocket aviator:

Those are really awesome jackets! They look almost a bit "steam punk" for lack of a better descriptor.

I'm impressed

Steampunk is a bad word where I live- I'm going to pretend you didn't say that

I think they perfectly capture all the best aspects of the 30s highly stylized aesthetic (almost deco). It does come across a bit flashy, but i love that about em:)

I meant it in only the most complimentary of ways. I don't have a problem with the term-sorry.

I think they're fantastic jackets, and uniquely styled. Maybe someday...

the two tone goat, looks like something Batman would wear, or maybe Bruce Wayne. One of them two,
I love that one.
