Thought folks might find this interesting. Below is my C-1 vest. It’s nice. I am calling it a design classic because like the US M1943 jacket & trousers, it was the first of a continuing and obviously linked lineage of kit that has changed little.
Below the pics of the C-1 are some of a modern RAF aircrew survival vest. The similarities are startling.
