Strange question

Chewing gum or mints often. I also stuff gloves in an A-2 sometimes.

That and the keys to my P-51

The zippo lighter is probably the most recognized item that was kept in a A2 pocket . You often see photos where the outline of the lighter is imprinted in the leather.

I’ve also seen the accompanying seeping lighter fluid from a freshly filled Zippo. Also happened to me as well!

I keep a pack of Sen-Sen in my A-2 jacket

Popular for decades they have a great nostalgic appeal and it's about all that fits in an A-2 pocket
