Stagg leather (Melbourne) "Brando jacket

Next up is a "Brando" styled jacket by Melbourne company Stagg leather (been in the business since 1929)
It's more or less a stock standard Brando/perfecto one star clone with lace up sides which comes in handy after a few beers and pies at Robertson pie cafe (best pies in the southern hemisphere lol)
Apparently Stagg's leather quality has been a bit off since it moved manufacturing to Pakistan but this beautiful beast has never been a problem compared to my Aussie made Stagg jacket.....though I will say that I've got a strange patch on the left backpanel which is broken in compared to the rest of the jacket?

Stagg advertisements were everywhere in Australian Motorcycle News back in the 80s and 90s. I had a Weiden Leather Brando.... Dad had a Weiden back in his teens too. Had 'Spinner' art on the back...

Hmmm, wonder where my art bent came from?
