Circa WW II Leather Flight Jacket Normandy Invasion Liner 78th Div. Estate Find | eBay

It is a flight Jacket from WW II or there abouts. The liner is a full map of the Normandy invasion including the lining in the sleeves. It shows the beach heads & the sounding French Villages. It is my understanding that the original owner wore the jacket on several tours of duty after the war.

In fact, such lots have become more often nowadays. Several A2 80s are listed as WW2, G-1 with dynel fur collar as M422 from 40s ... and I also saw one M65 "was used in D-Day in Normandy"

I was given this jacket years ago and it’s been well kept and rarely worn since then. The jacket is in excellent condition both inside and out. The zipper works well and has “Talon Hookless” stamped on it (see photo).
