How many originals still exist and are there any pictures of the exist ones ?

I don't think there's any way of knowing how many of them still exist. I don't think we even know how many of them were made to begin with (all the Eastman guide says is "under 500"). My guess would be there's rather less than 100 still left.

VLJ search is your friend. The Security has been discussed on this board as much as any A-2 ever built.
It was Air Corps Order 32-485, contracted in 1931 for 1,666 units (probably not delivered all at once!)
It was also offered on the civilian market as the Security Cordwain Jacket.

Is anyone in communication with the owner of an original SAT? I have contacted one owner (of a size 46), but does anyone (outside the jacket business) own an original in a different size?
