Hi everyone, been meaning to share this for a while. Some of you may have seen this one before, I picked it up a little while back.
Size 44. Goatskin is classic wartime thin and supple with that beautiful dark patina it gathers.
This jacket has been issued but a name tag has never been installed but features a stencil inside .
This is probably the best in my collection.
You would not believe this had been made 81 years ago

Curious, do you wear it or is it kept as a collectible?
Just a collectible, all my ww2 stuff I regard as artifacts, I wouldn't forgive myself if I stained or tore it. I try my jackets on every now and then, see how they look and compare to the repros.
I have a 40s star sportswear, not military issue but essentially the the same spec that I bought with the intention of wearing. But even that Im a little precious over. Where as my repros I wear pretty hard and and don't give a second thought
