Went out with a friend for a tour of the Reynolds museum in Wetaskiwin Alberta
These are some of the outdoor displays
1952 Bristol freighter type 170 Mk.31
Originally served with the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Taking supplies from New Zealand to Vietnam
Is credited as being the last fixed wing aircraft to leave Saigon in 1975
Carrying refugees and the New Zealand ambassador
It finished its life with Hawkair of terrace , British Columbia servicing the
Mining industry
1958 Avro CF-100 Mk.5 Canuck
Designed for poor weather and long range 3,706kms (2,302mi)
Only fully designed built Canadian fighter to enter operational service
And the first Canadian straight wing combat aircraft to exceed the sound barrier
Built between 1950-1958 served until 1981
1957 McDonnell CF-101B voodoo
Initially from the 416 Lynx squadron in Namao Alberta the squadron
Finished its life in Chatham New Brunswick in 1984 , the last operational
Squadron in the world , replaced by the CF-18 hornet in 1985
1969 Canadair CF-116 (CF-5D) freedom fighter
Built by Canadair under license from Northrop
Design entered service in 1968 and was retired in 1995
Forgot the info on this but I believe it’s a Lockheed t-33 trainer
