Looks great to me shoulders sleeves length spot on. But others know a lot more than me just my opinion. Go bed in it...

If it's your first A-2 they can feel a bit odd as they're more restrictive than a more modern cut jacket, often in the shoulders.

To me that looks fine. Wear it and it'll loosen up and mould more to your body.

So if it was me I'd just wear the snot out of it and enjoy!

As Tims says just wear the hell out of it, in all weathers including the rain. Wear it as much as you can and it will soon start to give. I would be loathe to start recommending x, y, z in terms of soaking and washing as you might end up with a garment that goes from snug to miles too tight.

Awesome fit. Looks like you have the RW contract model. I have the house model 6330P made in Shinki leather, and just posted my fit and impressions a few days ago. I can’t barely zip it all the way up, and cannot close the collar clip. I agree with the previous comment. Very few people wear their A2s zipped up all the way. If it gets that cold, time to pull on your B-3. One thing I discovered - you have to decided whether you want to wear your jacket with zipper open or closed to achieve perfect fit. Jackets that look good with zipper open usually looks a bit tight when zipped up. The ones that look great zipped up often have that blousy look. Looks like you still have room in the torso area.

Although I haven’t done that with my Shinki, most leather can take cold soak and stretch to speed up the moulding process. I’d start with a spray bottle instead of soaking it. RMC leathers are top notch and will crease and mould very quickly.

Please post a few more pictures with the zipper open. Jacket looks great as is.

Jacket’s ok , I would put a thick shirt or sweatshirt on under it and wear the piss out of it to stretch a bit more wiggle room out of it.
Any chance of seeing a couple more photos of it?;)

Fit looks good.
Agree that to wear a sweater or something under and wear the heck out of it. Wearing in the rain etc will help.... Let it dry at room temp.
Just wear it a lot and move around in it, it will give and crease up. These RM jackets are made tough, so may take a bit longer.
Do not soak it! Although many have hwt or cwt (hot water treatment) their jackets, incl me, with various results, I would not recommend it. The sleeves WILL shorten, and likely the back length also.
Let it wear in naturally.

It's the right length but maybe a bit slim fitting in the modern fashion. Originals always bloused a little around the middle. I've stretched lots of jackets by wetting them and either stuffing them with lots of pillows and such like and leaving to dry. Or doing it with the jacket flat using a piece of wood cut to the size you need inserted were you want the extra room. Again with the hide wet but not completely soaked so it stretches nicely. You have to be careful not to break the zip though, and if a jacket needs a really good stretch I sew a small piece of leather across the zip where I'm stretching it to reinforce it and take the strain. Using the existing sewing holes and being careful not to open them up too much.

You should always be careful if you want to do anything like that though and some people have made a pigs ear out of new jackets. Really it's how it feels to you and what you want to wear under it. If it is really too tight and you don't want to take a risk you can always send it back and change it for a bigger one.

Honestly, I would sell it and size up.
If you soak it like that, I doubt you will be satisfied with the result. You will have to really be careful. The results of water treatments are usually unpredictable.
If you do soak it, use cold water and then air dry. Once its damp, try and wear it with layers on, ie a jumper/sweater and another jacket for example - this could help to loosen around the chest and armpits.
I think it will constrict though once it dries, you can't wear it all the time. You may have to condition the leather after also.
Note: The knit will loosen and stretch out, so try to do this without getting the knit wet. The sleeves will shorten by 0.5" to 1", especially once you start wearing it in and creases develop. The back will likely shorten also by at least 0.5", due to creasing and also due to the leather drying in.
Not recommended.
