I love WWII photos but IMHO Vietnam war photography took combat photography to another level.

It's streets ahead in it's visceral nature and just how confronting it is. Yes there's shocking photos from WWII but Vietnam as a conflict ushered in something much more.

I do althought, I was very young. A hidious extra-judicial murder that is still hard to see, much less fathom.

Not in any way definding the VC or Uncle Ho, but the South Vietnamese where notoriously corrrupt and brutal. A fat, putrid mess since WW2 if not longer.
