By accident, while reading the post Low re-sale on a GW again in the Ebay section.

Since it was sold, Ebay forwarded the Dubow auction instead.

The guy was asking 600... I got it lowered with the appropriate arguments.

Without knowing the arm length, back length and chest measurements you took a bit of a risk but if it works out for you, that was a great find . Congrats

I’m thinking it’s a 42 or possibly a small fitting 44. But most probably a 42. Can’t wait to see it refurbished, I think it will be real gem.

HI,

Yesterday I acquired what could be a Dubow 27798 (?) on ebay. I paid $420. It has seen better days, yet I find it very appealing and I will try to have fun and restore it. For now, a zipper change is needed, knits be fixed and a new tag would be super great. Think it's a 40, so a wearer for me.

Are not original Crown zippers very fragile ? . The price is insane for a zipper I would just change the slider as you are going to restore the rest of the jacket anyway .
