Gents,
I received a couple days ago this G-8 vest from Avirex (now Cockpit). The interesting part is that it was a private purchase of a Tomcat pilot.
This vest is in mint condition and I have to admit that the construction exceeded my expectations. It is quite similar to the originals plus they improved the fitting. Being a size 44, it fits like tailored to me. Honestly I got this one just out of curiosity since we were talking about the private purchase WEP jackets a couple weeks ago, but unexpectedly, I would probably enjoy wearing it!
