What do you think on the leather comparison..?

Hard to do a head to head because 5* uses goat right now.

Seems like a number of people do not want goat but decided to wait and hope for horse.

Me? Not so concerned on the leather itself, but the right pattern and price point.

There was a comment about pockets on the ELC AERO thread... I think the larger sizes drive them around the waist a bit more...

I have a hard time slipping in the second arm.

My buddy in the 91st brought his original patched and painted jacket and wanted me to put it on. And I knew I was not going to really go on.

I put one arm in and fought with him for 5 minutes and took it off.

This is of course not as bad.

My Fivestar must have larger armholes and/or back panel as there is no resistance going on. The shoulders and pit to pit measure the same between the two.

Platon thought I needed a size up but he stopped making 48's and I thought he was more wrong than right.

Maybe not!

Great package! Jacket is pretty good, too! Fit seems quite good. Of course, a USAAF jacket clashes with a USMC belt and buckle, though.
