Patch question on nylon

Has anyone ever seen a nylon jacket with a leather patch? maybe between WW2, and Korea.

Can't recall having seen one (in my very limited experience) apart from on an Italian Air force L2B which had a leather Italy patch on the sleeve. Looking at modern fashion, I note that some current civilian Alpha MA1 types appear to have leather USAF patches on them.
