Yes. For domestic shipments the shipping boxes simply needed to be acceptable to the freight agent.

For export shipments the A-2 cartons required specific information listed below before being placed in a shipping container per specification 23-54. The shipping container markings followed specification 100-2.

Interesting indeed , and confirms my thoughts regarding the packaging, whether being jackets or boot liners , guidelines were followed .
