A package arrived from Aero Leather this afternoon. Took some pics outside.

One of the pocket flaps is a wee bit asymmetrical like the example Shawn modeled the 5* from.

Out of curiosity, how would you describe the leather? JC has commented that the Poughkeepsies he's seen were made of unusually thin leather. I wondered if that's something you noticed as well.

Yes, the leather is bit thinner than other original A-2s that I have.

Yes, thinner hides and a mix of zips; I really like the brass Talons on Poughkeepsies.

And you can see how the light green thread has shifted yellow with light and time.
