Appears identical to my Buzz J-7758A repro, but the seller claims this dates from the 40's whereas the Rolen (which the label suggests the Buzz is a repro of) was apparently issued in the 50's.

Yes, they are correct ...

AN-J-2, M716, MIL-J-7758A are all the same jacket, and ran from 1944 to 1959. Replaced by the 7758B, with zippered pockets, and cuffs in the early 1960's.

Their Meister Bros is 1944, Rolen Sportswear had contracts in 1956, and 1958.
