Yes, its quite common to find post war paint on vets' A2s. I guess some did not value them at all, whilst others kepts them in a footlocker for decades until they were sold off by their kin.

in their days they were just clothing.............why treat them any differently.........of course nowadays it's different......

it's theirs to do as they please........they HAVE earned that right...............collectors just collect, right?
