Original 1960’s Beck - 666 Cafe racer in Horsehide (Size 45/46)

Hi people i’m selling one of my two Beck - 666 Cafe racers in beautiful steerhide. I bought this just under a month ago from a seller in the U.S thinking it would be the same (Size 44) as my other Beck - 666 Cafe racer but sadly this guy comes up different. It’s definitely in better condition that my previous Beck that i posted not that long ago on this great forum.

The jacket size claims to be a size 44 but it’s definitely around a 45 and wider on the arms the body is the same as my other a Beck but the arms and top of the jacket are definitely different from my other 44

SIZES

PTP Front 20 Back 21
Shoulders 18.5
Waist Front 18 Back 20
Sleeve 25
Back 26.5

The jacket is in pretty much perfect condition apart from the shoulders and a small section on the back of the arm having peeled from storage? There are no holes or rips through to the lining. If you’re pro with leather fixing this could be fixed easily. It’s odd as the lining and most of the jacket is in mint condition and looks unworn considering it’s an original.

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Many thanks.

Nice jacket, but there are forum rules regarding selling here. There was a reason why you were not able to post in the proper For Sale / Trade forum. Any items listed for sale must include an asking price as well.

1. There is always an element of risk in buying/selling, and we have decided that this site leaves the risk and responsibility up to the individuals involved, not the owners or moderators of the site. We are in no way responsible for any actions taken by either seller or buyer of items posted in this section.

2. All sales must have a price listed. Sales with no price noted will be deleted by the moderators.

3. All sales must have one or more photographs. It's far easier and fair to have images that show what you are selling. Listing items with no photographs causes disinterest, and as with a price, a lack of photos will lead to a listing being removed by a moderator.

4. Your account must be at least 90 days and have 25 posts to participate in the buy/sell section.

You really shouldn't be posting the jacket for sale until you get the 25 posts under your belt and are able to make a post in the For Sale / Trade forum... I suppose the reasoning behind that is to show that a member has true interest in the forum, and not just coming in to use the forum classifieds to unload jackets. The 25 posts also gives other members a sense of knowing who they are dealing with a bit better before making deals.

Completely understandable. I actually didn’t see the selling rules post apologies. I’ve only been collecting for two years and only been on this great site for a few months. I sell vintage clothing and have 100% feedback on shoes denim etc on eBay since 2005. I’ll happily wait and get to know more people on here. Sorry again ✌
