Just be aware that the pics shown might differ. Mine did. The ones I got had flecks of the decal missing from some areas. They are old and he did offer to return them. Strange thing is he emailed and said he refunded me before I sent decals. Money never showed up in PayPal so I ended up just keeping them. pics show a nearly flawless set of decals and you might get that and you might not. Something to be aware of.

Same pic used in description. Here is what I received.

The one on right was less damaged.

I was lucky and mine are flawless. I’ll be attempting to apply one tonight... fingers crossed! Lol! I got the basic application set from MASH so at least I have the appropriate stuff to use.

Back in the '80's I bought a few NOS decals. They differ from the WW2 pattern.

Anyone knows what period these are from?

If they were from the Korean War they would say "U.S. Air Force". As those say "U.S. Army Air Forces" they're prior to the establishment of the USAF in September 1947.

welp, it worked! I'm very happy with the results of my vintage decal! it took about 80 seconds to get the decal wet enough to slide off. I used a bit of rubbing alcohol to wipe off any oils then used the MASH Meyercord 1036-R glue. it worked great and 1043-M Decal Coating really helped to sink the decal into the leather grain.
I think I set it a bit too low of standard but it looks fine to me especially when worn. I released the Army Air Forces lettering first since that was the most delicate part and once that slid into place I felt relieved and confident with the rest of it. Its the only jacket I'll put a decal on. I used Renapur all natural leather balsam to recondition the area afterwards. I may use some talc powder in a few days to knock down the shine.

Good job. I set mine there too around the same area. I was gonna go higher. I think like me you will be glad you didn’t.

Looks like that Meyerscord is the way to go.
Which maker of jacket is that btw. Grain is awesome.

saw this on eBay few week ago. I think it was only $10 but I didn't get it. the directions mention window and automobile so I am thinking Homefront civilian window decal. I will probably kick myself if I see it in a book and listed as rare and valuable. lol!
