Nylon Jackets from DD & GW

Gents,

This is just a quick note to confirm that JC and I are both now making nylon jackets.

I have an original pattern that JC created and I have graded/drafted all of the patterns for our first offering...sizes 38 to 48. This jacket is....

The L-2A by L.W. Foster.

As a nod to the modern physique, and while maintaining the proper shape of these jackets, 3” has been added to the original pattern! Since, let’s face it, very few people wear their pants as high as in 1951!

Pics soon

thank you for adding length to these jackets. Their original lengths make them totally impractical to wear otherwise!!!!

Sorry. I think these are going to go great guns. JC has outdone himself with the initial pattern, and it just looks right. IMHO

Fantastic, especially the B-15C. I'm interested to know why you decided not to put the shoulder decals on, which the original jackets would have had, and I hasten to add, I'm glad you didn't. Just interested to know why.

One of those choices that had to be made. I believe if people want them badly enough, they will order and apply them. That said, nobody is making them correctly anyway. They should be a dye sublimation process, but most are iron on decals which is not what the AF ordered, and is actually incorrect. So for a broader appeal, we decided to leave them off.

Hey, I wear mine high. With a beanie cap and BCGs!

What are BCGs?

I don't mind a shortish flight jacket, I own a g8 Wep and my N-2a isn't that much longer either. But I also wear proper high rise chinos.

Dave, both these jackets are exceptional! As someone whose arguably more of a fan of cloth/ nylon jackets, you and John have excelled anything else available on the marketing in my humble opinion and I hope to own both one day?
