Not on most people's radar... the CWU-7/P

I've come up with a theory. I believe the combination of CWU-9/P liner and CWU-9/P quilted pants were most likely used in the CWU-27/P coveralls. I think it would make sense.

27/P has its own padded one piece liner , and it’s Nomex as well.

Ok, but I still think that the CWU-9/P combo is for a jumpsuit/coverall.

A USAF vet stationed in ROK during the 70s/80s and also a collector stated this:
Quote;
“The CWU-9/P was NEVER meant to be buttoned or attached to ANY jacket… its a simple vest or jacket or additional layer, which can be worn as such… under or over almost everything.
It was never a dedicated liner to some other garments.”

I just own the BR version of the liner, that is, I have two now, one in Olive green and one in Sage green.

but I can post pictures of their tags of course if there still is interest ...

I hope (for the sake of my bank account) that my company will only rarely send me to either the ROK or Japan....

but honestly BR really does some nice gear...
these liners are no exception.
I was wearing my new one yesterday and got asked by two guys where I got it from.
