Hello folks

I bought these pair of gloves from ebay right now. I settled a good price with the seller so I couldn't resist. Can someone please identify this gloves? All I know they're german, but what century? Is it military? What branch?

Pilot? Are you there?

Thank you

They are what’s being referred to as Luftwaffe gloves in the other threads . Are there any labels inside of them ? They seem to be post war items but others here have more information on them than I , so hopefully someone more info to follow.
Cheers

They’re not the same as the ‘Luftwaffe’/Bundeswehr jobs referred to in the other thread. Those don’t have that fur lining for a start, or that v-shaped gusset. Apart from that, I got nuthin’.

Someone on here had a pair of those on here recently as well as an assortment of other gloves. Another member bought a pair of gloves off poster.

They are very similar, but not identical to, Gunther Rall's gloves seen in that thread. I wouldn't be surprised if they were private purchase, on a similar basis to Luftwaffe flying jackets, acquired commercially by individual pilots.

That sounds logical.
But could someone tell that these gloves are pre '45 or not?

Thx for the flowers. Apologies, sice quite busy these days.
As for the gloves in OP:
Nice pair of gloves. To me post war ( 60ies).
The studs ( no symbol, no marking,) are surely post war and typical ( former )eastern block.

The ( end of the ) adjustment strap is typical GDR ( DDR) or Czech Rep. from these times.
Note the differences with pre 1945 gloves ( or “West” German made ones).

Thank you pilot. It seems clear that the post war maker still used the ww2 era pattern. Besides some minor differences they look almost identical. I'm sure they'll keep ones hands pretty warm.

1000% agree...
plus the post war ones are available for a fraction of the costs compared to pre-1945 models.
