Today we have one of those extremely rare survivors of the time, the example is a N.O.S. L-2B Light Zone Flying Jacket in box made by Satellite Outerwear Corp., fiscal year 1967.
The jacket is in superb condition as you would expect from a new jacket, but the box definitely adds the touch of uniqueness to this piece.
The only issue present is a dark zipper mark on the orange lining, due to the contact with the blackened Conmar zipper over the years folded in the package.
As a side note, it is breathtaking to see how some items are preserved through decades in untouched condition, something that is becoming rarer every year.
