As I posted in what are you wearing, here is my pre-war jacket. I assume it’s Army by the buttons. Anyone know what model this is?

Yes, same buttons just smaller on the cuffs.

It's more like WW1 wool uniform material and shape of the pockets. More likely pre WW 2

I was thinking that, too -- but a zip front for that sort of uniform?

There's also something odd about the length.

No inside pockets. Just the two chest. French seams inside.

Not lined. Just the wool outside with french seams.

with those buttons, im not at all sure it is a civilian corps jacket. but the zipper screams early-mid 1930s. ive never seen anything quite like it.
