    Hi guys,
I'd like to show you some picture of my new Eastman leather 1937 S.F.A.D. Merino Fleece, remember a few years ago I had the same jacket (with concho) but it was a bit too big.... and since then I lost a few Kilo and it became really to big so I decided to sold it last week and buy a new one... 2 sizes smaller !
Here are a few picture, we have perfect B3 weather now in Switzerland :)

indeed, those are beautiful jackets. however, when i had one, i found that it was a water and snow sponge. i gooped mine with a snow seal, or pedards leather product [i forget which i used], and the result was that the jacket, though not water proof, was somewhat water resistant, and it ended up looking like the uncolored b-3s we see in wwll pix of them. still in all, i sold mine, and of course, lived with sellers remorse for having done so.

I have a sheepskin sample that is stunning, unlike that after the TW treatment that destroys it.
    Wish there was a choice.

I don't think this one has a TW treatment, unlike my first jacket of same type which was actually the ELMC B3 with bronze concho

when i ordered mine from gary, i asked that the tw treatment be toned down, and it was....to the point of looking new.

Looks great. Much better length than Irvins I have seen. Are these cut longer?

They are. The short waist was a fault of Irvin's design (he also designed the B-1/B-2). Probably to make movement easier when worn with the high-rise, matching trouser, both lined horsehide. Gaposis resulted when the jackets were worn over a working uniform with woolen trousers.

B-3/A-3 suits in 1939, one untreated, two treated. B-3 jackets 34-39_4.jpg

Beautiful photos! All alone in the white nothingness just how this jacket is of a solitude of its own
