Does anyone know what a Moneygram is and how it works?

Here's a link to Wikipedia ....

Like they say, it works the same as Western Union, but for some reason the Wiki entry seems very focussed on the potential fraud aspect.

I've been paid that way, several times, for eBay sales .... just find the nearest office, produce ID, and the number, and it's cash over the counter.

So in comparison to Paypal, money order, ect., would you consider this a good way to go?

As the payee? ... sure, as long as there's an office nearby, it's better than a money order.

IIRC (i was looking into this method a while ago) the network of offices is absolutely abysmal. Lots of travelling for the seller just to get his/her money. This is why many won't accept this payment method.
