Matching of cloth B-10, B-15, B-15a, Tanker like short jackets

Enclosed some photos of matching of these WWII cloth jackets in pairing with pants.
It seems slim leg chino is a nono, as for slim jeans or tapered pants. The best looking, IMO,
b10 match.jpg
is wide leg, wide hem - not even straight leg - trousers for these jackets.
What do you think ?

Charlie used to post here and on Fedora Lounge until he got in a very bitter and long drawn row about Rust Knits on original B-10's
I forget how it started, somerthing to do with BR but it went on for ages, very entertaining at times, also pretty bitter on occasions, we has smokescreens and mirrors, the lot.
I stopped reading the thread after a while, it got like John Isner V. Nicolas Mahud and in the end, Charlie "was" Mahud but I'm sure someone else could point you to towards the thread.

I kind of miss his posts...........................
