M41 Jacket

Hello! I’ve been looking around for a m41 jacket and saw this one plus few more , but was wondering if anyone can help me to identify if they are from that era or just reproduction ,thanks in advance I’ll put these two out first

The first 5 pics are from a US Navy N-4 jacket. Very similar to the army M-1941 jacket.
The second 5 pics are from a US Army issue M-1941 (or M-41) jacket.

Both jackets are original.

Oh ! See , I didn’t know that about it being a N-4 , but thank you for that and helping me out with seeing they both are & I also saw these two & if you don’t mind (the 2nd one is a women’s but maybe it’ll fit )

Also from what I see 36 is smallest or a 34 but they are mean to be little of a loose fit correct??

I have no information about the NXSX lists of the navy but both jackets are from the WW2 era. The woman's version of the M-41 jacket is dated 1944 so...

The jackets do have a somewhat loose fit that can be adjusted by the side straps .

Ah I was just seeing that for the woman version , sorry error on my part ‍ haha & well if all 4 are actually from that era and not reproduction that’s perfect ! Especially for the price


And that’s even better ! But from what I’m seeing should be looking for similar to a parka style fit to it little roomy , but that’s the intended way


Also last question you’d say just wash these like regular clothes , cold water , detergent ( maybe vinegar if some smell to it ) & bam! Or can they be dry cleaned ?

Love my M41, very comfortable, light to wear and looks cool IMO. Had mine some time (At the Front repro I think) and patched 8th AF felt shoulder and 77thFS/20th FG left chest! Had the chest patch a long time from ELC, the b/ground colour being a mustard yellow when most I’ve seen are red. Gary Eastman claimed on querying it that it did vary - ironically in my Mighty Eighth Warpaint and Heraldry (Roger Freeman) book it does just show the 5 card hand of 4x7’s and an ace, less a b/ground colour!!!

Nice! Here's one of my M41's originally belonging to Lt Robert Foster. It doesn't have the wear on the collar and sleeve cuffs you usually see on originals so guess he didn't wear it much. I find the M41 a very comfortable jacket.
