Levi’s in leather

Had a customer contact me recently & wanted a jacket made in leather to reflect a 30’s Levi’s Jean jacket. Had a few head scratching moments as I had to build solely based on pictures of an original provided from the internet. Leather is chocolate steer & buttons are repro “union made” jean buttons sourced from Japan. First pic was sent from customer after he received it, others are various shots during construction.

the original levis design really does lend itself to being interpreted in leather. the rounded bottom of the chest pocket is a super nice 1930s touch. another master among us.

Why did you go in a different direction with the pocket shape . Must the jacket came out great ,one in blue leather would be killer if you find the right blue .
