L-2 jackets that I need some help with

Morning everyone,

Today I have come across something that is a bit outside of my wheel house. I am out of my comfort zone on a few things here and to be quite honest one of those things is how much these jackets are worth. Included in these photos are 3 jackets. One is a green L2 and the other two are blue L2A. They are in amazing shape and I cant see any damage to any of these jackets. From what I understand the green L2 is more than likely a early 1950's model based off of the camoflauge issue once a pilot has to bail out. The blue ones may end up being earlier? But not sure, once again this isnt my wheel house. And one of my major questions is just what these things are worth but after my own research and discussing with fellow collectors anywhere from 500 to 700? An expert on the subject to get me up to speed would be amazing! Thank you!

Frankly they look not bad at all. They have been worned for sure. But most important they have all their zippers works, and the cuffs/collars are in good shape. From my knowledge each L-2a can be 700-800$/ The L-2 is very rare and desirable "Reed Product" manufacturer even damaged it can go around 1200-1300$

Hi
I think your estimated values of the jackets are high. For example I’ve had an original L-2b for sale at 375.00 for the last 2 months with no takers . Not trying to sound negative but just sharing some information with you.

Hello!
L-2a/ L-2 and L-2b prices are very different on the market. 1950's Korea war against 1960's . L2-a were produced in a shorter time and quantity, this is more true for the L-2. Those were used a lot during the Korean war, so few are still alive and in a good shape. My estimation are correct ( I think) and based on the same jacket type. The Test sample jacket are also different in terms of price range.

Agree with UBIK.
L-2 and L-2A’s are quite rare in good condition and size...really Korea war issued.
In Japan and all looking for those, pay the am amounts (0.8 to 1.2 K US$) If minty even more. If ( originally ) patched...priceless...
L-2B’s even in very good size and condition are still around ( all kinds an versions) hence not so wanted, which is a pity, since the early versions are great jackets. They still show up on flee markets and garage sales in the US and for very moderate prices.
My little 0,1cent input.
