Just got one of my grail jackets...

The BR MA-1 William Gibson has always been a bit of a grail jacket for me, as a pretty big Gibson fan. I finally managed to pick one up from Buyee/JDirectAuctions - it's in exceptionally good condition (apart from from some minor pilling on the collar I can't find anything wrong with it) and it was almost embarrassingly cheap for a legit BR (40,000 yen, or $280 plus shipping). I'm very pleased indeed. I had forgotten, however, just how heavy MA-1s are and the weather here in Virginia has just turned more spring-like sadly...

Living in Florida you learn little tricks to extend the jacket season… Turn the thermostat down to 60, put your jacket on and watch a couple of good reruns like Masters of the Air, The Cold Blue or Catch 22.
Your wife will think that you’ve lost your friggin mind but hey …… we’re all right here with ya!!
