Just found a V505 in Sydney?

Just thought I'd let any fellow Aussies know that a store in the city (Corlection) apparently has a genuine V505 A-2 in-store.
I did ask to take photos but the guy didn't allow me to.....he's priced it at 2,800AUD.....no idea if it's a decent price or if he ships overseas but does have a online store.
Captain Couchy might be something you'd be interested in..... plus you'd be a better person to be able to verify if it's "ridgey didge
"

Without pics... very hard to say...

In good shape and anything bigger than a 38 then the conversion to USD$ would put at just under $US2K... Not common. Could be a fair price.

Nobody has had a crack at a half decent reproduction. Just need a label maker to knock up a half decent reproduction and the job is half done... ;)

The V505 is a rare jacket but does not seem as popular as other A2 contracts. Probably
over priced, maybe worth a couple of hundred USD.

But much depends on condition and if there is any known history to it.

If the guy let me take pictures I'd have done
It was in wearable condition but wasn't badged up or had any artwork.....just a plain Jane one

I wonder why the shop keeper wouldn’t let you take a photo of it ?
Sounds like he was being a little bit of a pecker head.
Honestly some of the vintage store owners in Sydney are highly strung and paranoid....I did end up getting a Willis and Geiger A2 from another store on my little trip on Thursday so I'm still happy.....it's a shame I couldn't get a few snaps of A2 porn to share
