What a jacket. A true collector's item. Nice touch that JC replaced the zipper that the jacket had (in turn, a replacement zipper) with an original vintage No. 7 Talon riveted zipper. Brings the the jacket a notch up in authenticity.

I wonder if the hide would be the same issue as original B-3 in that one cannot really wear them as the shearling is so fragile?

will John be mailing these now??????

On the material list the sheepskin thickness is mentioned to be 1/4 in; the B-3 were made with 2/3 sheepskin. But I’m not sure about the first ones…
