Talking of parkas, any of you UK guys remember what we called snorkel parkas in the seventies and eighties? Green, blue, brown, all with a orange lining and rabbit fur round the hood haha

Yep, although at risk of another OT detour they were sixties fishtail parkas for me.

Just got it back from the dry-cleaner, it came out well, cleaned and roundel not discolored. The dry-cleaner already cleaned my other 1967 n-3B (but that one was not nylon and din't have a roundel). Very honest too, just €15 (about $15)

I remember them too in like a canvas material and a shiny nylon material

Steve I'm showing my age here but thank Christ they don't have a revival of star jumpers and 6 button waist flared bags trousers haha two tone I'll allow if your still into ska but silver suits no haha

I disagree. Collectors in Japan would pay 300 for the hood ruff and zippers alone.
