Indian Leather Jacket

Hello! I found this leather jacket today in a thrift shop and I'd like to know more about it, I couldn't find anything. It weighs over 2 kilograms, all the buttons say Indian, and it has a detachable lining (I think that's what it's called), which also has indian on it. It has a big pocket on the inside which I think is for back protection and 2 more pockets which go from shoulders to elbows.

Got it for $14, newbie? Ya got your doughs worth. Don’t get ya rod hard, as it is not an Indian mc jacket from the 40s-50s. What ya have was made several years ago-last month. “Indian” mc jackets were only made for a coupla years, (circa 1949-52?) most likely by fidelity sportswear, (Indian mfg made bikes not jackets) down the road from the Indian factory in Massachusetts.

It’s a bike-specific Indian-branded jacket made by Polo, who manufacture such things. The pockets are for armour.

I have a pair of Marks and Spencer woollen socks that I would like identified as soon as possible please, time, day and date of manufacture would be good.

It’s a bike-specific Indian-branded jacket made by Polo, who manufacture such things. The pockets are for armour.

you should know better:

We need photos and more descriptions: Length of the socks? Do they cover your ankles? Do you attach them with the original M&S spec leather hip-holder? These things...

Don't listen to the nae sayers on here, it's worth a fortune,, get it on ebay with a starting bid of $1000,if it was my size I would buy it myself,,
